Hi! I’m Kindra, a self-taught web and marketing designer.
I am all for self-education and taking the unconventional route. In 2020, I taught myself Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, which led to becoming certified as an Adobe Certified Professional in Visual Design.
To develop an authentic purpose for my graphic design skills, I participated in the Praxis program where I fell in love with marketing. I underwent a rigorous 6-month internship with a digital marketing agency as an in-house designer, which inspired me to embark on my freelance journey in 2022.
When I’m not working, you can find me hiking outdoors, exploring national parks, solo traveling the world, and documenting everything in my travel journal..
I grew up in the Philippines and moved to California in 2019, speaking both the Tagalog and English languages fluently.

• Revamped Treehouse’s web pages to fix high bounce rate problem and to increase conversion.
• Collaborated closely with the marketing and developer team to craft beautiful and functional pages.

• Designed and managed SmartBarrel’s social media accounts.
• Improved brand, web, and content design.
• Designed convention booths and marketing materials such as posters, one pagers, and more.
• Collaborated closely with the CEO and sales department to align company’s branding with its goals.
Design and Marketing Intern • Upgrow • Internship / Sep 2021 – Mar 2022
• Collaborated with marketers to produce growth-driven ads and landing pages.
• Communicated directly with clients, handled web design projects, and other creative needs.
